Berlin

Berlin is one of, or perhaps THE most naturist-friendly big cities in the world. You’ll easily agree, if you just look at the list of locations, and location of these locations – some of them are in the heart of the city. Now, if only the climate were a bit more suitable most of the year, I bet half of the denizens would walk around naked anywhere in the city 🙂

Here is where you can enjoy both sport activities and relaxing time in the capital of Europe’s engine: main park of Berlin in its very centre – Tiergarten – has a few naturist lawns; most recreation areas at lakes are by default clothing-optional, e.g. Krumme Lanke, Teufelsee, Heilegersee, and the biggest lakes – Wannsee and Müggelsee – have designated FKK areas (naturist term in Germany). In cold times, you may enjoy numerous saunas (my favourite is Thermen am Europa Center). There are naked yoga groups. And how about dancing naked? You can do so listening to traditional German pop music aka Schlager at SchlagerNackt Party every two months, or every weekend at Berlin’s most famous techno club – Berghain! No kidding, even though it’s not a naturist venue per se, it certainly lives up to its ‘anything goes’ fame!
